Questionnaire Results

I have created a questionnaire and asked 10 students what they thought about college magazines. My results show that 70% of students have jobs, 60% then have £30 pounds or more to spend a week. This would help towards the aspect of price and advertisement, despite this all students requested the magazine be less than £1. Just over half at 70% said that they would like to see advertisement in the magazine, in terms of what will be advertised and presented in the magazines i asked questions to help understand what exactly they would like to see. For example 90% of students would like to see more pictures than writing; i can see that Rap/HipHop and Rock/Indie are the preferred music genres, and also the whole group of students request to see fellow students appearing on the cover of the actual magazine. The questionnaire results show that the magazine should be issued monthly as 80% of students thought this would have the best outcome in terms of keeping the magazine updated. As the majority of students chose pages such as gossip, sports updates, fashion updates and photographs these will have to be updated quite frequently. Despite the fact all students declared they do not actually read a current college magazine the questionnaire shows what they would be interested to see.
I have now decided that my magazine will have students on the front cover and will consist mostly of photo's rather that writing. My magazine will have Rap/HipHop and Rock/Indie Style this i can use to create advertisements. There will then in the contents page be gossip, photograph, fashion and sport update pages.
