I asked a class of people what they would like in a music magazine, here are my results. I found that 60% of my target audiance are female, the ages i am aiming at is strongly between the ages of 16-18. The ideal price of the magazine should be anywhere between the price of £1-£3 as my results are all average. The most popular magazines my audiance reads are 60% Vogue, 40% NME and 40% O.K this gives an idea about content and advertisement.
The audiance have suggested that it content consist of mainly photographs and interviews so this will help in terms of my front cover deciding cover lines etc... The readers are people that go to gigs either monthly or yearly so, likely festivals which gives an idea of what to include inside a magazine, out of these most people spend between £5-£15 a month based on music alone. The readers mainly shop at H&M and Topshop again giving an idea of style and advertisement options.
For these results i used a website called Survey Monkey i emailed this to a class to get my results, here is the link...

I will use these results and include the important aspects in my magazine. I think my results were pretty much what i expected in terms of style and typical common genre. Although these werent the results i was particularly looking for, in that what i have already chosen to do, theme wise, i can still incorporate these ideas into my own.
